My Vision for District 6

I aim to bring almost  20 years of experience working in education and an unwavering commitment to ensuring high quality public education for all students to the DeKalb County School Board for the benefit of my local community. 

As YOUR District 6 board member, I will work with parents, teachers, district staff, elected officials, and other board members to put in place policies to

Enhance engagement with parents, community members, and local businesses and organizations to increase academic, wellness, and career opportunities for students. 

Promote equity across the district through evidence based resource allocation and school improvement projects that will  ensure  competitive options for students and families, district wide, and increase public confidence in all our schools. 

Ensure excellence by maintaining high expectations from the boardroom to the classroom to gain national recognition for DeKalb County Schools to increase property values and economic development throughout our community. 

As a proud parent of a District 6 kindergartener, the hopes, dreams, and aspirations that I have for the students in DeKalb County mirror those that I have for my own son.  I am deeply invested in empowering the DeKalb County School District to engage and achieve equity and excellence for our future.
